Teaching Allowance 2021 KPK @ 20% of Initial Basic Pay
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department (Regulation Wing) has issued Notification No. FD(SOSR-II)2-5/2021-22/Teaching Allow Dated Peshawar the: 07-07-2021. Hence the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has pleased to accord sanction to Teaching Allowance 2021 KPK @ 20% of initial basic pay scales 2017/Month to all teachers of Elementary & Secondary Education. Similarly, Higher Education and Technical Education Departments, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa w.e.f 01.06.2021 in the best public interest. Likewise, the above allowance will be admissible subject to the following conditions.
However, it will subject to Income Tax and it will admissible only to the teachers posted against teaching posts in the aforesaid Departments. Furthermore, Teaching Allowance shall not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculations of pension/gratuity and calculation of House Rent, etc. Hence it will not admissible to the Officers/Officials who are on earned leave, extraordinary leave, and study leave except casual leave. Similarly, it will not admissible to the employees posted/deputed outside the E&SE, Higher, and Technical Education Departments against non-teaching posts.
Most Noteworthy, All Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous/Medical Teaching Institutions/Other Institutions and Authorities. Hence under Provincial Government shall adopt this notification within their respective organizations. Similarly, with the approval of the concerned Competent Forum subject to availability of their resources.

A copy of the above is forwarded for information & necessary action to the Controller General of Accounts, Islamabad with the request to create a G/L head for the said allowance. Hence the Accountant General, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Similarly, the Principal Secretary to Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and all Administrative Secretaries to Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Likewise, the Senior Member, Board of Revenue, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the Secretary, Provincial Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, all the Divisional Commissioners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and all Deputy Commissioners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Registrar, Peshawar High Court, Peshawar, and all Heads of Attached Departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hence All Heads of Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and All the District Accounts Officers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Similarly, The Director-FMIU, Finance Deptt With the request to upload the same on FD’s Website. Likewise, PSO to Chief Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Section Officers/Budget Officers in Finance Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Furthermore, the Manager, Government Printing Press, Peshawar and the Private Secretary to Secretary, Finance Deptt Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hence PA to Special Secretary, Finance Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and PAs to Additional Secretaries/Deputy Secretaries in Department, Peshawar.
