Eligibility Criteria
Hence the candidates must be Pakistani/ AJK nationals. Similarly Minimum four-year Bachelor’s degree {BS/BSc/BE (16 years formal education)}. Likewise, Maximum of one 2nd Division and no 3rd Division in an entire academic career. Furthermore, the Maximum age on the closing date shall not exceed 40 years in the case of regular faculty members of Public Sector Universities. Likewise, Government Colleges and Researchers of approved/registered R&D Organizations (Born after January 10, 1981). Similarly, 35 years in all other cases on the closing date of the application (Born after January 10, 1986).
Merit Determination Formula
GRE Scores-60% (Preference will give to the higher scores). Hence those having GRE waived by the host university will require to appear in the HAT test. Similarly, will get a 60% score in addition to meeting the eligibility criteria of the host university. Most noteworthy, HEC AEF Formula 30%. Must not be availing of any other Scholarship.

About HEC
Hence the Controlling Authority of the Higher Education Commission shall be the Prime Minister. Similarly, the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan may supervise the affairs of the Commission. As soon as may be, the Federal Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, establish a Commission to be called the Higher Education Commission. Furthermore, the Commission shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with powers. Hence subject to the provisions of this Ordinance, to acquire, hold, and dispose of the property. Likewise both movable and immovable, and shall by the said name sue or be sued. However, the headquarters of the Commission shall be in Islamabad and it may set up its sub-offices at such place or places it may deem fit.
