Pension Increase Notification 2021 Pakistan
Government of Pakistan Finance Division (Regulations Wing) Islamabad has issued Notification No. F. 4(1)-Re g.6/2021-486 on 8th July 2021 regarding Pension Increase Notification 2021. The President has pleased to sanction an increase @ 10% of net pension with effect from July 2021 until further orders. Hence to all Civil pensioners of the Federal Government including Civilians paid from Defence Estimates as well as retired Armed Forces personnel and Civil Armed Forces Personnel. The 15% increase in pension as allowed vide para-12(i) of Finance Division’s O.M. NO. F. 1(5)-Imp/2011-419, dated 4th July 2011. Similarly 7.5% increase in pension as allowed vide para-1 of Finance Division’s OM. No 4(1)-Reg.612015-697, dated 7th July 2015. Likewise, 10% increase in pension as allowed vide para-1 of Finance Division’s O.M. No. 4(1)-Reg.612016- 870, dated 1st July 2016.
Furthermore, 10% Increase in pension as allowed vide para-1 of Finance Division’s O.M. No. 4(1 )-Reg.6/2017-831, dated 3rd July 2017. However, 10% increase in pension as allowed vide para-1 of Finance Division’s O.M. No. 4(1 )-Reg.6/2018-663, dated 3rd July 2018 and 10% increase in pension as allowed pare-1 of Finance Division’s O.M. No. 4(1)- Reg.612019-838, dated 15th July 2019 shall be admissible to the new pensioners who would retire on or after 01.07.2021.

Grant of Increase in Pension to Pensioners of the Federal Government
Hence The 10% increase in pension as mentioned in para-1 above will also be admissible to the pensioners who would retire on or after 01.07.2021. Similarly, For the purpose of admissibility of increase in pension sanctioned in this O.M. the term “Net Pension” means “Pension being drawn” minus “Medical Allowance”. Likewise, the increase will also admissible on a family pension granted under the Pension-cum-Gratuity Scheme, 1954, Liberalized Pension Rules, 1977. Hence on pension sanctioned under the Central Civil Services (Extra Ordinary Pension) Rules as well as on the Compassionate Allowance under CSR-353. However, If the gross pension sanctioned by the Federal Government shared with any Government in accordance with the rules laid down in part-iv of Appendix-Ill to the Accounts Code, Volume-I, the amount of the increase in pension will apportion between the Federal Government and the other Government concerned on a proportionate basis.
Most Noteworthy, the increase in pension sanctioned in this O.M. will not admissible on Special Additional Pension allowed in lieu of pre-retirement Orderly Allowance and monetized value of a driver or an orderly. Similarly, the benefit of the increase in pension sanctioned in this O.M. will also admissible to those Civil Pensioners of the Federal Government who are residing abroad (other than those residing In India and Bangladesh) who retired on or after 15.08.1947 and not entitled to or are not in receipt of pension increase under the British Government’s Pension (increase) Acts. The payment will make at the applicable rate of exchange.

Grant of Increase in Pension to the Civil Pensioners of the Government of Sindn
Government of Sindh Finance Department Karachi has issued Notification NO.FD (SR-III)3-230/2013(Provl) dated 6th July 2021. The Government of Sindh has pleased to sanction an increase @ 10% of net pension with effect from 1st July 2021 until further orders to all civil pensioners of the Sindh Government. The 15% increase in pension allowed vide Finance Department’s O.M.No.FD(SR-III)3-230/2011 dated 12th July 2011. Similarly, 10% increase in pension as allowed vide Finance Department’s O.M.No.FD(SR-III)3-230/2013(Provl), dated 1st September 2015. Likewise, 10% increase in pension AM Para-1 A Finance Department’s O.M.No.FD(SR-III)3-230/2013 (Provl), dated 04th August 2016.

Grant of Increase in Pension to Civil Pensioners of Punjab Government.
Finance Department Punjab Government has issued Notification No. FD.SR.III-4-160/2021 on 12-07-2021. Hence I directed to state that the Governor of Punjab has pleased to sanction an increase @ 10% of net pension with effect from 1st July 2021 until further orders. Similarly, to all civil pensioners of the Government of Punjab. However, the 15% increase in pension as allowed vide Para 12(1) of this Department’s circular letter No.FD-PC-2-1/2011, dated 11-07-2011. Similarly, a 7.5% increase in pension allowed as vide Para 1 of this Department’s circular letter No.FD.SR.III-4-259/2015 (A), dated 23.07-2015. Likewise, 10% Increase In pension as allowed vide Para 1 of this Department’s circular letter No, FD.SR.III-4-178/2016, dated 18.07-2016. Furthermore, No.FD.SR.III-4-170/2017 dated 14-07-2017 and No.FD.SR.III-4-188/2018 (A), dated 18-07-2018. Similarly, No. FD.SR-III-4-202/2019, dated 19.07-2019 shall be admissible to the new pensioners who would retire on or after 01.07.2021.
